Pharmacological features:
The inaction solution of the preparation “Protoplazma” is characterized by immune-stimulatory, anti-stress, antimicrobial, antiviral, energetic action. The rich, multi-component composition of the natural biologically active compound of the DAS ensures high efficiency of the drug and a wide range of action. It has antibacterial, antiviral activity. It also has regenerative, detoxifying properties. The drug acts on gram-positive, gram-negative bacteria, separate species of enteric bacteria (Escherichia coli, Proteus Vulgaris, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus) and other microorganisms (Pastereula, Corynebacterium, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma).
It also reveals antimicrobial activity against the simplest antibiotic-resistant organisms and bacterial strains, but does not hinder beneficial microflora.
The mechanism of action of the drug is based on the impact of the pathological microorganism on the outer membrane, it penetrates into the periplasmic space, violates the integrity of the cell. The drug, which enters the cytoplasm, binds to polyanions (DNA, RNA) and inhibits the growth and development of bacteria, thereby strengthening the body’s immune system.
The drug activates specific and nonspecific circles of immune protection, complement system, phagocytosis, causes normalization of the functional activity of lymphocytes-natural killers (NK-cells), T- and B-lymphocytes, corrects the level immunoglobulin. It also strengthens the body’s defense mechanisms, the functional activity of macrophages, prevents the development of immunopathy during stress, and helps to increase the body’s resistance. Maintains the balance of immunomodulatory cells in times of the infectious and viral diseases and provides normal homeostasis of the organism.
The energetic effect of the drug “Protoplazma” is determined by the properties of its components, it expands the limits of the body’s capabilities, helps to increase muscle mass, speed of movement, recovery of strength and the growth of endurance.
Indications of use:
The drug is used as an immunostimulant, anti-stress, antimicrobial, antiviral, energy agent.
– For the formation and stimulation of immunity, to increase natural resistance;
– In stressful situations, to avoid and reduce stressfulness (during transportation. Before and after the operation, when fixing animals and birds);
– In case of the complex therapy for the prevention and treatment of bacterial and viral diseases of the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract of various etiologies;
– To enhance the effect of vaccination.
– To restore strength and increase endurance during prolonged physical activity and tension of the body.
Rule and dosage of use:
Preparation is used for birds, livestock, horses, camels, pigs, dogs and cats.
For treatment: in the muscles, 1-2 mg. /kg. live body weight or 0.1-0.2 ml. / 10kg. live body weight, once every 24-48 hours, no more than 5 injections. If necessary, treatment should be repeated after 5-10 days.
The duration of treatment depends on the clinical and therapeutic effects. If necessary, the dosage can be doubled.
For the prevention of infectious diseases: single dosage 2-3 times a month;
In case of mass diseases: single dosage every other day, once in 72 hours, for 5-10 days;
In case of a deterioration of the health condition of the animal and the impossibility of diagnosis at the initial stage of the disease: a single dosage 2-3 times, at intervals of 3-5 days;
For the treatment of viral infections (in the early stages): once a day intramuscularly, subcutaneously during 5 to 10 days. The duration of treatment depends on the clinical and therapeutic effects. If necessary, it is possible to double the dosage for the stimulating effect – 2-3 times, at intervals of 3-5 days.
To stimulate the natural resistance and growth-development of the adolescent: in the muscle, on the 1st, 3rd, 5th or 7th day of life, after that once in a month;
To eliminate the consequences of stressful situations (for example, before slaughter, transportation, shaving, etc.) – single dosage 10-18 hours before the onset of stress.
To prepare for surgery: single dosage once;
During period after surgery: 2-3 times, with an interval of 3-5 days;
Before horse races, during intensive exercise and physical tension (3-4 hours before morning exercises): intramuscularly, subcutaneous injection of 5 ml per animal (1 mg / kg live body weight) once a week for 3 weeks, during the next 1.5 weeks twice a week, on every fourth day. Injection of the drug should be stopped 24 hours before the start of the competition. When using the preparation, it is necessary to observe the rules of aseptic and antiseptics. A separate needle is used for each animal. The injection site must be treated with an antiseptic solution.
